What is motherboard? What are the inner components present in the computer motherboard?

Hi! Guys I am Prabakaran , Welcome to innovative codes academy, In this video we explore about my computer and H61 DDR3 motherboard, Before we learn ,Know about few things, Number one vital role of motherboard and what are the inner components present in computer motherboard?, Number two H61 DDR3 motherboard type , let’s start the section, What is motherboard?

H61 motherboard:

Definition:

The Intel® H61 Express Chipset is a single-chipset design to support the new 1155 socket Intel® 3rd/2nd Generation Core™ i7 / Core™ i5 / Core™ i3 / Pentium® / Celeron® processors. It provides improved performance by utilizing serial point-to-point links, which allows increased bandwidth and stability.

History of DDR:

Double Data Rate 3:

Double Data Rate 3 Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory, officially abbreviated as DDR3 SDRAM, is a type of synchronous dynamic random-access memory (SDRAM) with a high bandwidth (“double data rate”) interface, and has been in use since 2007.

SDRAM (synchronous DRAM) is a generic name for various kinds of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) that are synchronized with the clock speed that the microprocessor is optimized for. This tends to increase the number of instructions that the processor can perform in a given time.

North Bridge:

A north bridge or host bridge is one of the two chips in the core logic chipset architecture on a PC motherboard, the other being the southbridge. Unlike the southbridge, northbridge is connected directly to the CPU via the front-side bus and is thus responsible for tasks that require the highest performance.

Host bridge:

northbridge or host bridge is one of the two chips in the core logic chipset architecture on a PC motherboard, the other being the southbridge. Unlike the southbridge, the northbridge is connected directly to the CPU via the front-side bus (FSB) and is thus responsible for tasks that require the highest performance.

South Bridge:

The southbridge is one of the two chips in the core logic chipset on a personal computer motherboard, the other being the northbridge. The southbridge typically implements the slower capabilities of the motherboard in a northbridge/southbridge chipset computer architecture.
